How's the April crop, what's shipping, what's next? Great growing conditions produced a superb Florida Citrus crop at Al's for 2024. What a difference a year makes. (The grove store opened on Oct. 17th with Early Pride and Bingo Mandarins.) Next SugarBelles joined our classic, Florida Navels, Glory Orris and Heirloom Temple Oranges. NOW- Florida Ruby Reds and FL Valencia Oranges are the best we've had in years too!
What's Shipping Now?
Matt just returned with his crew and a full truck of Al's famous, Florida Peaches! Petite & sweet, our FL Peaches actually test even higher brix (sugar) than Georgia Peaches.
Our Florida grown Valencia Oranges, & Ruby Red Grapefruit have reached their peak of ripeness, sweet and juicy. My son, Matt grew most of our Florida Valencia Oranges. They're exceptionally sweet, again our best crop in years.
What's Now, What's Next? As our locally grown Our Florida Valencia Orange harvest is now going strong. The Spring Navel season ends soon. Our Indian River, Ruby Red Grapefruit season ends shortly! Now is the best time to stock up the fridge for the summer.
Our Fort Pierce grove has a full crop of juicy, delicious FL Valencia Oranges too...Available for shipping now.

The FL Valencia Orange crop is the best we've had in years too!

How's the crop this year, what's shipping, what's next? Great growing conditions this summer have produced a superb Florida Citrus crop here at Al's for 2023-24. What a difference a year makes, so thankful no hurricanes! (Pics above are varieties of the season) (The grove store opened with Early Pride mandarins on Oct. 17, now it's those petite but sweet Bingo Mandarins.) Next week- Sugarbelle mandarin season begins!
What's Shipping Now? Our locally grown Navels and Red Navels and Ruby Red Grapefruit & Early Mandarins are all available both in the store AND FOR HOLIDAY SHIPPING.
What's Next? In early December our incredible Glory Orri harvest and shipping season begins. Florida Navels, Glory Orris and Ruby Red Grapefruit steal the show for HOLIDAY SHIPPING right on through Christmas. After Christmas our much awaited, our most asked for Honeybells finally make their first appearance just as the Navels are almost gone. By mid-February Temple Oranges will be ready and our Fort Pierce grove has a full crop of juicy, delicious Valencia Oranges for shipping from March - early May.
